Silicone wire in to Eleteckjun's introduction, you should be very familiar with. Silicone wire has the following characteristics:
1. Heat resistance: silicone rubber has much better heat resistance than ordinary rubber, and can be used almost permanently at 150 ℃ without performance change; It can be used continuously at 200 ℃ for 10000h; It can also be used at 350 ℃ for a period of time.
2. Ambient temperature and service life of silicone wire
It can be used at 120 ℃ for 10-20 years, 150 ℃ for 5-10 years and 205 ℃ for 2-5 years
3. Cold resistance: due to the molecular structure of silicone rubber is helical, flexibility is particularly good.
4. Weatherability: the main chain of silicone rubber is - Si (R) 2-o-si (R) 2 -, without double bond, so it is not easy to be oxidized, degraded and oxidized by ultraviolet and ozone. Compared with other materials, silicone wire has better weatherability and radiation resistance. Therefore, long-term outdoor use will not occur aging, mechanical properties and electrical properties basically unchanged, no cracking.
5. Chemical resistance: Generally speaking, silicone rubber has good chemical resistance, fuel resistance and oil resistance.
The main effect of solvent on silicone rubber is swelling and softening. Once the solvent volatilizes, most of the original properties of silicone rubber recover. It has good tolerance to polar solvents such as ethanol, acetone and edible oil, only has a small expansion, and the mechanical properties are basically not reduced. The tolerance to low concentration of acid, alkali and salt was also good.
We are all too familiar with silicone wire, but we seldom hear of Teflon wire (Teflon wire). The characteristics of Teflon line (Teflon line) are shown in the following link:
