Characteristics of Teflon
1. Adhesion: almost all substances do not adhere to teflon insulation.
2. Heat resistance: Teflon line has excellent heat resistance and low temperature resistance. It can withstand high temperature to 300 ℃ for a short time, and can be used continuously between 240 ℃ and 260 ℃. It can work at freezing temperature without embrittlement and does not melt at high temperature.
3. Moisture resistance: the insulation surface of Teflon wire is free from water and oil, and it is not easy to be stained with solution during production and operation.
4. Scratch resistance: Teflon wire insulation has a lower friction coefficient, compared with other electronic wire insulation scratch resistance doubled. It has excellent wear resistance under high load. Under certain load, it has the advantages of wear resistance and non adhesion.
5. Solvent resistance: the insulation of Teflon wire is hardly eroded by drugs, and can withstand the action of all strong acids (including aqua regia), strong oxidant, reducing agent and various organic solvents except molten alkali metal, fluorinated medium and sodium hydroxide higher than 300 ℃.
